How much does a dryer vent cleaning cost?
Every home is different. The price depends on your area and location, whether it's regular maintenance or a first cleaning, the height and access of the exterior vent, and whether your machines are stacked and we can reach the back of the dryer. Call us or request a free quote for an exact price.
How long does a visit take?
About 30 minutes with two technicians. A first cleaning, or one that hasn't been done in years, can take longer.
Can you clean my vent in winter?
Yes, on milder days, but it's best to clean before the cold. Each full load sends about half a gallon of water outside. In a clogged duct, that water mixes with lint, freezes and thaws, and can form an ice plug at the exterior vent. The weight can break pipe connections and cause leaks, stains and mould in walls and ceilings. Ducts running through the attic are especially at risk.
